My lil man is 6!
Its hard for me to even begin to fathom the fact that this past Friday (12/26) was Anthony's 6th birthday... I know that "time flies" and even with this in mind time flew right in front of me :(
Anthony Thomas Bond entered this world on December 26, 2002 at 9:22pm weighing 5lbs 15.8oz at 19 inches long...
On this same day, in the same hospital not too long after we welcomed our bundle of joy so did friends of ours... What are the chances of that?!? Not only were we pregnant at the same time (she was due 12/24 & I wasn't due until 1/5), but we both had boys and we did it on the same day in the same hospital just minutes apart!!! So Little Chance and Anthony are best friends that share a birthday... how special is that :)
Anthony is a happy, healthy 6 year old who is a quarter and a half of the way through his first year in school... kindergarten! I am the mother of a kindergartener!!! He is vibrant and FULL of energy (did I mention he has energy?!?) He loves to play OUTSIDE and would rather be "doing" something than sitting still, if I could bottle just an ounce of that energy I'd be rich. He is so sweet and loving as well as the best big brother in the whole wide world to my daughter Alexis. She LOVES her big brother AKA her friend. They have a blast together and I love to listen to them make each other laugh.
He is a very affectionate, caring and cuddly kid that has the cutest smile ever... and he knows how to work the crowd to get what he wants while using all the manners I've taught him, he is so polite! He loves to sing and can memorize lyrics quite easily... he knows a ton of praise music from church and the local christian radio station as well as some Johnny Cash and Ray Charles :)
We went to Chuck E Cheese on Friday with my parents, grandparents and a few family friends to begin the celebration of his birth... Just one day after the celebration of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ's birth and I look forward to continuing to celebrate his birthday with family, friends and his classmates this week.
I thank God for blessing me with such a wonderful child. I pray I can raise him up to be a wonderful Christian man.
